Due to ongoing hazardous conditions on some of the back roads traveled by our buses, Tuesday, January 7th, will be a Non-Traditional Instructional Day (NTI Day #1). Teachers will be reaching out to communicate specific expectations, and they will be available throughout the day to provide support and answer any questions. Please reach out if your child/student needs assistance. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area until 6:00 PM CST Monday. Due to the winter storm warning and hazardous travel conditions, all Barren County schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 6. The forecast calls for ice accumulation on power lines, which may lead to widespread power outages, so this will be a traditional snow day, NOT a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day. Please stay safe, and take extra precautions as the weather conditions develop.
